An ocean blooms.
Have you ever wondered what a moving botanical garden at the bottom of the ocean would look like? That image, as ethereal as it is impossible, is what led me to create my new collection: Botanical Aquarium, a series of watercolor fish prints that transform fantasy into tangible art .

An Ocean That Blooms
Deep in my imagination, the idea of watercolor fish, embodying the delicacy of the most beautiful flowers, was born. They are not forced hybrids, but creatures that seem to have always existed in some magical corner of the world, where the boundaries between flora and fauna blur like the transparencies of watercolor on paper.
The Inhabitants of the Botanical Aquarium
This limited edition of only 50 units per species features seven extraordinary creatures:
The Viola Fish whispers secrets to us with its rear fin transformed into the most delicate viola, as if it had learned to bloom instead of swim.
The Japanese Anemone fish is pure contemplation: a pufferfish that has traded its typical defensive swelling for the almost transparent grace of the Japanese anemone, floating with a serenity that invites calm.
The Lily Fish displays its iridescent nature of an angelfish adorned with the timeless elegance of the lily, as if it were the guardian of underwater gardens.
The Magnolia Fish , small and pink, carries the tenderness of the magnolia with every movement, reminding us that beauty can also be tiny and powerful at the same time.
The Carnation Fish transforms the silver moon of its body into a canvas where the carnation dances with the reflections of the water, creating a visual symphony of silver and coral.
The Protea Fish completes this extraordinary family with its unique and mysterious presence.
The Narcissus Fish closes this exceptional collection: a yellow boxfish whose distinctive geometry has become the perfect frame for the daffodil flower, radiating a golden light that seems to emanate from the depths of the ocean.

The Art of Transparency
I chose watercolor because only it can capture the ethereal magic I was looking for. Transparencies allow the light to dance through each flower-like fin, creating reflections that seem to move even on the still paper. Watercolor gives these creatures that liquid movement that makes them seem alive, almost breathing within their watercolor sheets .
Each print, A Unique Work
These decorative watercolors are printed on 350g Hahnemühle Fine Art paper , the finest on the market, because such a delicate vision deserves the finest support. Each hand-painted print features my personal watercolor touches, ensuring that no two are identical—because magic, like nature, never repeats itself exactly.
On each one, you'll find the poem that inspired the entire series written in pencil: "When flora is fauna, an ocean blooms" - words that encapsulate the soul of this collection.
A Versatile Format for Your Home
The A4 format makes these watercolor prints a perfect fit for any space in your home. Unframed, you have the freedom to choose the setting that best complements your decor, allowing these fantastic creatures to find their ideal place in your world.
An Invitation to Dream
As a Spanish artist , I believe in the transformative power of art to take us to worlds where anything is possible. The Botanical Aquarium is not just a collection of watercolor prints ; it's an invitation to believe in the magic that emerges when we let our imaginations run wild.
These creatures await in my online gallery, ready to transform your home into that ocean of flowers we all carry within. Because, after all, don't we all deserve a little magic on our walls?
