Nobody puts baby in a corner
The series
Balloon creatures that inhabit fictional corners where angles vanish, light rebels, and all norms collapse.
"|Of all the corners,
I choose this one:
where light breaks through the planes
and my shadows lift me up.
A corner with no edges,
no permissions,
with echoes of Mickey & Sylvia.|".

The acrylic series "Plastic Nature" creates bright, saturated, and realistic environments where imaginary animal figures with disproportionate volumes retain the identity of their nature.
Each work is a meticulous study of a real animal, later transformed into a helium balloon. The metallic reflections, shine, and textures of the plastic contrast with the organic richness of jungles, lagoons, and coral reefs.
