THE MEANING
It gets lost among a composition of photos and other works,
like an inherited portrait of an ancestor about whom you know nothing.
Or perhaps it presides over a bare wall because its story is capable of filling it entirely.
You decide the level of ascendancy of Lady Rea II.
Pictured here is Lady Rea II , a great blue heron.
A unique piece painted in acrylic on linen canvas.

The work
In a very special vertical format, and through the study of the behavior of light, the figure appears to have metallic glimmers in antique green and sea foam. Painted on a tone-on-tone background.
The series
This new series aims to evoke old portraits full of solemnity and history in which fauna reigns supreme.
Each portrait is worked on independently, based on the physiognomy of real animals, so each one involves prior study and analysis, making each piece an extremely unique work.
Against backgrounds of intense colors, and in a light and harmonious format, each animal possesses a unique and special personality, leaving its level of ancestry up to your choice.
Nature: Ascendants and Descendants, is a continuation of the Plastic Nature series, in which animals become helium balloons, adopting a new perspective and elevating fauna to an aristocratic category.
All pieces have painted and finished edges, so they can be hung directly on the wall, or left standing without a frame.
Materials
The imaginative artwork is created using the finest available painting materials: French linen and Liquitex pigments. This ensures the artwork's durability, resistance to fading over time, and color retention.
