Giving Art at Christmas

There comes a time every year when we face the same question: what to give for Christmas to someone who already has everything? That person who doesn't need another candle, another book that will stay on the shelf, another object that will take up space without transforming it.

The answer isn't in immediate utility, but in what lasts. In what we look at every day. In what turns a white wall into a place of pause, contemplation, and silent beauty.
Art is not a common gift because it doesn't respond to the practical .
Giving Art for Christmas responds to the essential.

🎁 Why Give Art for Christmas

Giving art for Christmas—whether a signed print or an original piece—is giving the gift of presence. It's giving someone something that will connect with their space, their perspective, their way of living.

It's not decoration. It's visual companionship. It's that detail that makes a home feel more yours, more conscious, more cared for.

🖼️ When a Print, When an Original Work

There are no hierarchies here. There are contexts.

A signed art print (from €30) is the perfect entry into contemporary collecting. It's accessible, direct, and authentic. It allows you to gift a real work of art without the initial investment of a unique piece. And when well chosen, it transforms a space with the same intensity as any larger work.

An original work in a small format (from €300) is for those seeking absolute uniqueness. It's the piece no one else will have. The texture of the acrylic, the signature on the back and front, the certainty that those brushstrokes only exist once.

Both options share one thing: they're authentic art, created in the studio, without unnecessary intermediaries. The intimacy of purchasing directly from the creator.

✨ Christmas Prints: The Surrealism of Tradition

Every Christmas, I offer a special collection of 13x18 cm prints, only available during this time. These pieces are inspired by the Christmas atmosphere but crafted from the dreamlike, the surreal, the unexpected.

These aren't obvious motifs. They're not conventional reindeer or trees. They're images that capture the spirit of the season without being literal. That's why they work year-round: they can decorate your home in January just as they can in December.

They cost €30 and are the perfect gift for someone who wants to give something special without a big investment. Something that will surprise. Something they don't expect.

💳 The Gift Card: When You Don't Know What to Choose

Sometimes the best gift is the freedom to choose.

The Permanent Space gift card is completely customizable: from €25 to €1,000, or the exact amount you need. If it's a corporate gift and you want to give exactly €321, you can do so.

It's digital, delivered instantly, and allows the recipient to explore the entire catalog and choose the work that truly speaks to them.

It's not impersonal. It's about trusting the recipient's taste. It's about giving them agency over their own gift.

💰 Gifts on a Budget

Art doesn't have to be inaccessible. Here are some real options for different moments:

  • From €30: Surrealist Christmas prints or limited-edition prints in small formats. Perfect for Secret Santas, coworkers, or that first taste of contemporary art.

  • From €60 to €150: Signed prints in medium sizes (30x40 cm, 40x50 cm). Ideal for gifting to those who appreciate design, work from home, or have a professional office that deserves more than generic posters.

  • From €300: Original small-format works on stretcher bars. For important moments: anniversaries, weddings, significant farewells. These are unique pieces that are passed down as heirlooms.

🎯 Who Should You Give Art To (And Why)

For Those Who Have Everything

That mother or father who no longer needs anything. Who, when you ask what they want, say "nothing, really." A framed print for their office, for that reading corner, for the wall that's always been empty. It's a gift they don't expect and one they'll use every day when they look at it.

For Your Partner Who Works From Home

If you're working from home, your workspace deserves something inspiring. Something to break the monotony of video calls. A piece of artwork on the wall behind your desk transforms the backdrop for your meetings and, more importantly, transforms how you feel in that space.

For Professionals with an Office

Lawyers, architects, consultants, doctors. People whose workspace speaks to them. A work of art in an office isn't a whim; it's aesthetic coherence. In other words, attention to detail is paramount here.

For Yourself

Treating yourself at Christmas isn't selfish. It's a pleasure. It's closing out the year with something that will stay with you into the next. It's investing in your own space, in your own perspective. Many of my collectors start this way: choosing a piece for themselves in December (and I'm one of them).

📦 Dates and Shipping

If you want your gift to arrive before Christmas, the last day to place your order is December 10th . After that date, please contact me and we'll discuss options, but I can't guarantee delivery before the 24th or Three Kings Day.

The prints arrive in special packaging, ready to be gifted. Small-format originals are protected with cardboard, bubble wrap, and tissue paper (due to their delicate nature, they do not include a box, but the packaging is careful and professional).

🌟 Beyond Christmas: Other Moments to Give Art

Christmas is the star moment, but art works in many other contexts:

  • Special Secret Santa (they don't expect this and you have all the amount ranges)

  • Weddings (a gift that lasts longer than any gift list)

  • Anniversaries (more meaningful than flowers)

  • Farewells (for bosses or colleagues who have influenced your career)

  • Birthday (when you really want to surprise)

Each of these moments deserves its own post. But they all share one thing: they're occasions when we look to give something memorable. Something that won't be forgotten.
