 The work

 A regal portrait of a puffer meerkat. Through the study of light behavior, the figure appears to have golden metallic glints framed by a deep blue background.

 The series

 This new series aims to evoke ancient portraits full of solemnity and history in which fauna is sovereign.

 Each portrait is created independently, based on the physiognomy of real animals, so each one requires prior study and analysis, making each piece an extremely unique work.

 On intensely colored backgrounds, and in a light and harmonious format, each animal has a unique and special personality, leaving its level of ancestry up to you.

 Nature: Ascendants and Descendants is a continuation of the series Plastic Nature, in which animals become helium balloons, adopting a new perspective and elevating fauna to an artistocratic category.

 All pieces have painted and finished edges, so they can be hung directly on the wall or left freestanding without a frame.


 Materials

 The work is finished with the finest painting materials available: linen and Liquitex pigments. This ensures the work's durability, resistance to the passage of time, and color retention.
